WITH BOLD CLAIMS COME GREAT RESPONSIBILITES
Businesses that make bold claims about giving back are fraught with issues - it's easy to ramp up costs and expenses so that in the end, very little is actually given away.
WE DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY
1) People want the best stuff they can get so we hand-pick great rum, vodka and gin from indie distilleries known for their quality and sustainability.
2) We bottle them with pride and sell them at a fair price.
3) We redirect 100% of our profits to groups that are running cutting-edge climate crisis programs and fighting for a sustainable and equitable future.
4) Trust is crucial with this model, so everyone can log in to our Xero account and check we are doing what we promise - no inflated expenses, no travel by plane, no big corporate lunches or nights at the Ritz. Just email hi@evrythng.cc for access.
5) The one employee of EVRYTHNG’s remuneration is performance-based only - £1 per bottle sold, capped at 85k bottles per annum. This means that from day one we can give all the profit away to climate crisis causes, as opposed to using revenue from our earliest customers to pay an inflated wage bill.
6) There is no big payday at the end, no IPO and no "strategic exit". We've pledged to working hard in return for a fair annual wage in the belief that that's enough.
Along the way, everyone in the supply chain gets paid for their skills and input in the normal way and the government gets their duty and taxes. The only difference is that the profit is redirected to the cause, as opposed to overpaid executives, investors and shareholders.
